On its website, Apple said that this latest MacBook Pro batteries can last up to 7 hours. This value is quite good, but not as good as the previous value, which is 9 hours. According to our experience with a MacBook Pro last version before Sandy Bridge, even the battery can last up to 11 hours with the most efficient power setting. The decrease is quite significant.
